The lawyer for CM Punk & Ace Steel confirmed that both are bound by lifetime NDAs.

The lawyer for CMPunk and Ace Steel confirmed that the NDAs for the 2022 All Out battle are for life.
Stephen P. New, a lawyer, told Von Lilas on the podcast Wrestling With Rip Rogers that he, Steel, and Punk would never be able to comment about what happened following the media scrum after All Out 2022 regarding Punk & Steel’s fight with The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega. Their non-disclosure agreement is for life.

New said, “The only person who is not bound by an NDA…is Ace and Lucy’s wife Lucy.” “So maybe she could one day tell us the story.”

New said that Punk and Steel are “two of the most upright guys you’ll meet in any walk, let alone professional wrestling”, and that he will always be there for them.

Punk was suspended, and Steel was fired after the fight. Punk returned to the stage this summer, for AEW’s debut in Collision. Steel was brought back as a co-producer. Punk was fired from All In in September after an altercation backstage with Jack Perry. Steel was also let go as a result. Punk has since returned to WWE while Steel has worked as a producer at Impact Wrestling/TNA.
