Ospreay and Michael Oku will compete for RevPro on the 18th of February.
Will Ospreay, before starting full-time at AEW will compete for Revolution Pro Wrestling once more.
Ospreay will wrestle in his final RevPro match on Sunday, February 18, at High Stakes 2020. He will be facing Michael Oku in the RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship.
RevPro wrote: “We’ve said don’t take his for granted for a very long time and now this is the end,” “Will Ospreay’s last match with RevPro & he says he is leaving with his property.”
Ospreay has confirmed that this is his final independent wrestling event.
The match was set last weekend, when Ospreay challenged Oku at RevPro’s Uprising event.
Ospreay beat Oku in a match at High Stakes, nearly two years ago. It was one of the most memorable matches of 2022. Dave Meltzer gave the match five stars and it placed 10th in the Match of The Year voting.
Oku is the Undisputed British Heavyweight champion since he defeated Great-O Khan in July 2023. Ospreay was the champion from February 2020 until August 2022.
During the Full Gear pay-per view held last month, it was revealed Ospreay had signed a multiyear contract with AEW. Ospreay’s NJPW contract runs until February 2024.
Ospreay will also wrestle for TNA Wrestling on Sunday, January 14, at the company’s TV tapings.
RevPro High Stakes takes place at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, London. Robbie X and Mustafa Ali, a former WWE wrestler, will be facing off against each other in the show.
