CJ Perry seems to be in good spirits following recent surgery to treat a serious illness.

Perry has been hospitalized since Saturday, after an infection spread from a cut in her finger to her arm.

She posted a video on Instagram on Tuesday, revealing that her infection was caused by a small splinter which she picked up backstage at Dynamite the previous week.

Perry wrote:

I’ve been in the hospital fighting a deadly infection since Saturday. It was caused by a small splinter that I picked up on Wednesday backstage. Please keep me in prayer. Everyone, please take good care of any cuts that you may get. Even a small splinter could cause a deadly infection. I love you all and thank you for reaching out.

On Tuesday, Perry posted a graphic image of her finger on Instagram Stories.

Perry missed her CMLL debut scheduled for Friday due to an infection. She was supposed to manage Andrade el Idolo, in his first match for the promotion since 2015
