Woods appears to be suffering from an injury.

WWE star Xavier Woods appears to be suffering from an injury.

PWInsider reported Tuesday that Woods was “bruised and has been taken from the road to heal.” Woods’ issue has not been confirmed. However, the report states that Woods visited Birmingham, Alabama, a few months ago. Birmingham is home to the Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthpaedic Centre.

Kofi Kingston was playing Santa Claus in an angle on Raw last evening. Woods did not appear with his New Day partner on the show.

The angle caused Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser to attack Kingston. Giovanni Vinci also joined the attack. Jey Uso saved Kingston’s bacon and then defeated Kaiser as a singles player.

Woods competed most recently in a tag-team turmoil match on Raw’s November 27th episode. The Creed Brothers defeated Woods & Kingston in the match. Woods appeared in a Raw backstage segment two weeks ago.

Woods & Kingston were defeated by Finn Balor & Damien Priest on the Raw edition of November 6.
