WWE Raw ended its 2023 with a three-title match and one title change.

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter were crowned WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions last night after they defeated Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. Chance & Carter are now main roster champions for the first time. They were previously NXT tag champs.

The Judgment Day still owns the men’s belts, even though the women’s titles have changed hands. Damian Priest and Finn Balor defeated the Creed Brothers to retain their Undisputed WWE Tag Team title.

The Miz had one more chance to face Intercontinental Champion Gunther in a rematch of Survivor Series. Miz put on another good fight, but failed to defeat The RingGeneral. Miz is not allowed to challenge for the Intercontinental Title again until Gunther is no longer champion.

Next week, Christmas night Raw will be a best of episode. WWE will then present a special Day 1 Raw edition on New Year’s Day the following week. Rhea Ripley and Ivy Nile will be fighting for the Women’s World Championship in that episode. A grudge match is confirmed between Becky Lynch & Nia Jax for Day 1. Also confirmed is a tag-team bout between Natalya and Tegan Nox vs. Shayna Basszler & Zoe Stark.

Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre will be the highlight of Day 1. Last night, the two had a face to face confrontation. Rollins told McIntyre he didn’t hate him, but he pity him. This led to a fight. McIntyre gave Rollins a Alabama slam on the ring steps.
