Randy Orton’s battle against The Bloodline will continue on SmackDown this evening.

WWE announced that Orton and Jimmy Uso would be facing off in a singles bout on tonight’s SmackDown episode. The match takes place one week after Orton & Jimmy competed in tag-team action. In last Friday’s main event, Orton & LA Knight defeated Jimmy & Solo Sikoa.

In the storyline, Orton seeks revenge on The Bloodline after they caused his back injury which kept him out of commission for more than a full year. In 2022, Orton had double fusion surgery on his back. He returned to the ring last month at Survivor Series.

Orton joined SmackDown two weeks ago. WWE is building up to Orton challenging Roman Reigns in the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Reigns will also appear on tonight’s SmackDown. He’s making his first return to the show since he retained his title against Knight at Crown Jewel.
