Punk is looking for a fun activity to do in Bridgeport this Saturday.
CM Punk is expected to be at WWE NXT Deadline this evening.
In a Saturday afternoon Instagram story, Punk revealed he was in Connecticut for NXT Deadline. The premium live event will be broadcast from Total Mortgage Arena, Bridgeport, tonight.
Punk posted a photo with the caption: “Missed today’s flight.” Woke up in Bridgeport. “Is there anything to do in Bridgeport?”
Punk’s Instagram post included a tag for NXT.
Punk, in the storyline, is a free agent following his return to WWE during Survivor Series. He will reveal which brand he is signing with on the Raw episode this coming Monday.
Punk returned last night to SmackDown for the first time since nearly a decade. Punk said in his promo that he was scheduled to speak with Shawn Michaels this weekend. Punk said that he would be speaking with Michaels about NXT.
In his SmackDown promotional video, Punk said that he was returning to WWE to finish the job he began. He’s back to finish his story of being the headliner at WrestleMania.
Tonight, Deadline will be going head to head with AEW collision.
Deadline streams will begin at 8 pm Eastern time. A one-hour preshow will precede the event.
