CM Punk’s return to WWE has only one goal: the main event of WrestleMania.

Punk made his WWE comeback last night by returning to SmackDown for the first. Punk gave a mission for his WWE comeback and named-dropped future opponents or partners during his promo. Punk said that he was here to finish the job he began. He’s returning to finish his story of being the headliner at WrestleMania.

During Punk’s promotional video, he mentioned Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. He also mentioned Solo Sikoa, Jey Uso and Jey Uso.

Punk did not mention Rollins by name, but he clearly took a shot at him.

Punk said, “Everyone has welcomed me back with open hearts, except that one guy.” “There’s always one bad apple who spoils the bunch. Am I right?” I won’t listen to anything he says, and not because his voice is whiny. It’s because The Man isn’t even in his own home.”

Punk brought it up while talking about Owens. Punk then made a sarcastic joke about his behavior on the backstage of AEW.

Punk said, “I don’t think anyone would feel comfortable working with someone who just randomly punches people backstage.” “I mean, 2023, ladies and gentlemen. You can’t do that. That’s insane.”

Punk will appear on Raw in Cleveland, which airs Monday. He will reveal the brand he is signing with.
