Musical performance set for WWE SmackDown Tribute to the Troops in todays Wrestling news

This Friday, The War and Treaty will be performing live.

This Friday, at the special Tribute to the Troops edition SmackDown, a live musical performance will take place.

WWE announced that The War and Treaty – a husband and spouse duo consisting Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter – will perform at Tribute to the Troops on Friday night. The episode will be broadcast from the Amica Mutual Pavilion, Providence, Rhode Island.

WWE wrote: @warandtreaty, two-time Grammy nominees in 2024, will perform LIVE this Friday on the #WWETroops #SmackDown edition! Tune in for this special performance to honor our U.S. military, veterans, and their families.

The War and Treaty is one of the nominees in the Best New Artist category for the 2024 Grammy Awards. Their song “Blank page” is also nominated as Best American Roots Song.

This year, the Tribute to the Troops was the first special SmackDown edition. This event has been held annually since 2003.
