Shelley thanked her fans and family in a post on social media on Wednesday. He and Chris Sabin debuted as the Motor City Machine Guns last Friday on SmackDown.
“I want express my gratitude to everyone who supported me not only throughout my pro wrestling career, but also my life. That’s friends, that’s coworkers, that’s my family. “You don’t have to be blood relatives to be family. But we did it,” said he.
“Now I’m an WWE superstar.” “To be able verbalize this has a very deep and profound feeling of power here,” he said, pressing his chest. “I couldn’t have achieved it without the support from so many people…at so many different points in my life. I think that whether you believe in fate, the creator, or the universe…I must be one of those most blessed people to have made it this far and to have been able to achieve that goal. Now the hard work starts. But again, I thank you so much. You were the only one who could have made it happen. Thank you for encouraging me, picking me up when i was about to fall and pushing me forward. “Here we go.”
The Motor City Machine Guns, who won their three-way bout on Friday, will face DIY this Friday to determine the next contenders of the WWE Tag Team Titles currently held by The Bloodline.
