Jade Cargill doesn’t have a rush to make her WWE debut.
ESPN first announced Cargill’s WWE contract on September 26. She appeared on Raw, SmackDown and NXT shortly after. However, she has not been seen in WWE programming since. She still hasn’t wrestled her first match in the promotion.
Cargill recently told the Dallas News that WWE fans should be patient with her debut, as “you shouldn’t hurry success.”
Cargill said
“So you want me to tell you what we are working on? [Laughs] Listen, I think that the fan base needs to be patient. I think they should understand that we are making a diamond. We’re creating a legacy. We’re creating a legacy that will resonate and make waves in not only the wrestling culture but also pop culture. They’re setting up me for success. You shouldn’t rush to success.
“I’ve entertained thousands of people on TV several times. I know what it takes to entertain a crowd. No one can disagree. I can do it. The WWE Universe knows what they’re up to. I trust them. I believe in the system. When they see me in the ring, they’ll understand that there is no turning back. [WWE] believes in me and has given me all the support I could ask for. I’m ready. I’m ready. It’s my time and everyone should be patient. “And when I arrive, please understand that I will be taking over.”
Triple H was asked to comment on Cargill’s position with the company during the post-event scrum of the WWE Survivor Series.
“I want her to be ready for anything that is thrown at her,” he replied. “And I don’t think it was her fault, but she was limited.” The idea is that we exposed her and made her visible, and people are now understanding, and they’re waiting and excited for her arrival.
“I don’t think she should be thrown a pitch that she has never seen before. I want her to be able to hit the ball out of the park, no matter what pitch she gets. You can see it in her. That’s the presence, that’s who she is.”
When she is ready and they feel comfortable, she will debut. “They sent her to Saturday’s football game, she was definitely one of their top people.”
