Big Bill wants his old tag-team partner to get another chance in wrestling.
Enzo Amore & Big Cass worked as a tag-team in WWE between 2013 and 2017. Both were released from WWE in 2018, but briefly reunited at the G1 Supercard MSG Show in 2019 and then on the independents.
Bill would go on to sign with AEW 2022 and then Impact Wrestling 2021.
Bill said that he hoped Enzo would get another chance in the industry. He felt that he was too talented to not give him a shot.
Bill said, “I’m still good friends with Enzo. He’s the f—ing man.” “People ask about Enzo constantly and I tell them that he’s probably the only one I know who is unique. They ask “what do you mean?” There is no other person on earth like him. He is unique. You cannot duplicate him. He’s a very talented guy.”
“I love Enzo. I hope he gets a second chance in pro wrestling. I think he is too talented not to. He’s so unique and clever that he wrote most of his promos. He’s a funny guy. He’s very smart, he is very unique. “One of one.”
Enzo hasn’t been able to make it big with a bigger promotion like AEW but he has maintained an active schedule in independent promotions. He wrestled for the Hart Family’s Dungeon Wrestling Calgary in June and challenged AJ Francis to the TNA Digital Title at a Memphis Wrestling event in July. He also wrestles for OVW regularly and had a stint with MLW in late 2021, until the two sides fell out early 2023.
