The Blackpool Combat Club is now a splintered group.
After Bryan Danielson won the AEW world title at Saturday’s All Out event, Killswitch attacked Danielson. This allowed Christian Cage to appear and try to cash in on his Casino Gauntlet match. The Patriarchy was blocked from entering the ring by Wheeler Yuta and PAC, as well as Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Jon Moxley. After they backed away, the Blackpool Combat Club joined Danielson in celebrating as he and Moxley hugged. Castagnoli, however, smashed Danielson to death with a European Uppercut. Moxley attacked Danielson with a plastic bag as he tried to regain his composure. Wheeler Yuta was held back by PAC as Marina Shafir attacked the referee.
Castagnoli & Moxley continued to attack Danielson until they finally let up. They left together with Shafir, PAC and Yuta as Yuta checked on Danielson.
After the angle was taken, AEW on X announced that they would not be showing the footage of the assault.
Moxley returned to AEW after an absence. He told Tony Schiavone in a cryptic way that this was no longer his company, while calling out Darby Allin specifically. Later on in the show it was revealed that Shafir had aligned with Moxley and taken out various people behindstage.
