The reigning International Champion Will Ospreay and Ricochet, who made his debut last month at AEW All In in Las Vegas, finally exchanged pleasantries on Saturday during All Out.
Ospreay, in a backstage interview conducted with Renee Paquette was enthralled by his title defense against PAC. He then spotted an old foe who interrupted proceedings.
Ospreay suggested in an acrimonious discussion that Ricochet quit sitting around collecting a salary, start winning and go for a chance at the title. Ricochet told Ospreay not to worry about him, as he will be around for quite some time. Ospreay told him to go talk to Tony Khan, get some wins and then “you can come talk with the champ”, before walking away.
The two have faced off many times between 2013 and 2017, including one of the most memorable matches in recent memory when they fought in NJPW.
Ospreay was about to say something to Ricochet, after he won his first AEW match on the post-All In Dynamite show, but PAC interrupted him and knocked him out before their All Out match.
