All-star eight-man tag match announced for AEW collision in todays Wrestling news

This Friday, the special edition of AEW Collision features an eight-man tag match featuring The Elite and AEW World Championship Bryan Danielson.

The All Out go home show will air on another day due to the Saturday pay-per view and will compete with WWE SmackDown.

After the events of Dynamite on Wednesday, AEW Tag-Team Champions The Young Bucks and AEW Continental Champions Kazuchika Okada & TNT champion Jack Perry will be facing Danielson & AEW Trios Champion Claudio Castagnoli. Wheeler Yuta, PAC, and PAC will also face Danielson.

Danielson joined Castagnoli, Yuta and The Elite in the ring after the main event of the night. The Elite had jumped them behind the back. The babyfaces won the match, and Castagnoli challenged the Bucks to their tag titles on Saturday at All Out. This was confirmed later.

On Saturday, Danielson will defend his title against Perry, PAC vs. Will Ospreay, for the International title. Okada will defend his title against three unknown challengers in a four way.

Deonna Purrazzo, a former AEW Women’s Champion, will face Hikaru Shida before she challenges TBS Champion Mercedes Mone in Saturday’s All Out.

Shida won a four-way match at the Collision last Saturday, earning her a shot at Mone. Purrazzo last appeared in the Collision on August 10th, losing to Thunder Rosa in an Texas bullrope match.

Shida won the quarterfinal of this year’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

Three qualifying matches will be played, with the winners going on to face AEW Continental champion Kazuchika Okada at the All Out four-way.

The fights will feature former AEW International champion Orange Cassidy vs. Bryan Keith; reigning Ring of Honor World Championship Mark Briscoe vs. Lance Archer; and Konosuke Takshita versus The Beast Mortos.

Rampage, this week’s Rampage, will also be live.
