Janel Grant won’t be appearing in the upcoming Netflix documentary on Vince McMahon.
According to a Brandon Thurston report, the producers of Mr. McMahon reached out to Grant’s team in order to interview her for the film, but was unable to secure her involvement.
A spokesperson for Grant told POST Wrestling that Netflix’s documentary group had reached out to Janel’s representative to request an interview for the project. “Despite this, a similar interview did not take place.”
The report continues to state that Grant declined to participate in the film festival despite being approached by filmmakers several times.

“Mr. McMahon chronicles Vince McMahon’s rise and fall as a controversial businessman and cofounder of WWE. This six-episode documentary series takes a look at McMahon and his legacy, from his transformation of WWE into a global entertainment giant to the explosive allegations of sexual misconduct that led to his resignation. The interviews were conducted with McMahon (prior to resignation), his family, business associates, and some of wrestling’s most iconic figures. They also interviewed journalists who investigated McMahon’s allegations.
