Cody Rhodes will be joining SmackDown.
During Raw, it was announced that Cody Rhodes will be responding to Solo Sikoa on the final SmackDown this Friday. Sikoa was heard saying on last week’s episode that he would be pursuing the Undisputed WWE Championship no matter who won the WWE Championship match in Berlin.
Sikoa said, “I don’t care who wins. Cody Rhodes or Kevin Owens. “Because, whoever is the winner after tomorrow, the tribal chief is coming for you.”
In the opening match, the premium live event on Saturday in Berlin, Rhodes defeated Owens and retained the title.
The last time Rhodes met Sikoa was at SummerSlam, when Rhodes won after Roman Reigns returned to WWE and defeated Sikoa using a Superman Punch. Sikoa’s Bloodline and Jacob Fatu’s return a few weeks later saw Sikoa and Bloodline defeat Reigns, who was then powerbombed through the announcer table by Sikoa.
