Ricochet has revealed his experience in WWE.
He admitted to The Ringer Wrestling Show that he wasn’t “frustrated” by his WWE run but he did realize that what he was doing was not of substance.
You can place blame anywhere but I blame myself…that is the only person I blame because that is all I can do. I’m not sure what I did, but I’m certain I didn’t. Again, frustration is not the right word for me because I met my future spouse there in my last two years, I made amazing connections, and the locker room was always awesome. In terms of creativity, I would have liked to have done more. I’m doing it mainly for the fans, not for myself. It’s more frustrating to me when I see that the fans want to see me do something. I was out and about a lot. I was on TV a lot. I was used a great deal. But the quality of my work was not there. Ricochet was in large quantities, but I wasn’t happy with the quality.
Ricochet says he is responsible for his WWE career ending.
It’s okay. That’s the way it is. I can only blame me. I can’t, I can’t. It wasn’t frustrating, because I still had a lot to enjoy. Was there more to do that I wanted? Absolutely. I had a great time.
He made his AEW debut at All In last year, taking part in the Casino Gauntlet Battle Royal. He then defeated Kyle Fletcher in the next episode of AEW Dynamite.
