Hardy spoke about his frustration in The Extreme Life With Matt Hardy.

Matt Hardy is not happy with the way The Hardys are being presented in AEW.

Hardy discussed how he and brother were used in the company during the last four-month period on a recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy.

Hardy said, “I think there’s a great place for us at AEW if only we’re used in the right way. We’ve just got get there.”

“There is a huge fanbase who wants to see us, and we are loved. We’re not Matt and Jeff Hardy from 1999 and 2000, but there is a lot we can do to encourage young guys to continue to rise and to rub-off on these young guys. But we need to be used in the right manner. We hope we can make it, we feel we’re moving in the right direction.”

Hardy said that the way they were used in the last four month was “very frustrating.”

“The way we were used creatively in the last four month has been very frustrating.” We’ve waited patiently, but there’s been a lot frustration with things we’ve done and how we’ve kind of been used in some ways.

Hardy said that the brothers could adopt a more aggressive approach and turn around “to get us back where we want to go.”

It was originally planned that the Hardys would win the AEW World Tag Team Championships in 2011. The company changed plans due to concerns about Jeff Hardy’s well-being.
