Michael Cole & Corey Graves are the broadcast team for WWE SmackDown, when it returns to USA Network in a month.
Cole & Graves announced on Monday’s WWE Raw that they will be the commentators for SmackDown when it returns to USA Network starting with the episode of Friday, September 13. Graves replaced Pat McAfee in Monday’s Raw, as McAfee will be on hiatus until the end of college football season (January) and is not working for WWE.
Joe Tessitore is joining the Raw commentary team for the episode on Monday, September 2. It is still unclear if Tessitore would be paired with Graves or Wade Barrett on Raw. Graves and Barrett have been the SmackDown commentating duo on Fox ever since February this year.
According to reports, Tessitore is moving to SmackDown after the college football season in January. Tessitore also calls football for ABC/ESPN. Cole will then return to Raw as USA moves to Netflix.
Tessitore joined the WWE commentary team earlier this month at SummerSlam.
