Bryan Danielson’s career highlight was “without a shadow of a doubt” All In 2024, when his family traveled to London to watch him win the AEW World Championship.
“I feel pretty good.” “People ask me all the times what my favorite moment in wrestling is, and I cannot give them one answer as I’ve enjoyed all of it,” Danielson stated at the press conference following the show. “But this is the very first time that she [his daughter Birdie] can remember seeing me wrestle live. This is the very first time my son has ever seen me wrestle. “That was without a doubt my favorite moment of my entire career.”
Danielson defeated Swerve at Wembley Stadium and became the new AEW World Champion. Brie Garcia, Birdie and Buddy Garcia, the daughter of Danielson’s parents, were in the front row, cheering him on. After the match, the family jumped into the ring to celebrate Danielson’s win.
Danielson was required to retire if he had lost the match because of a stipulation that compared his career and title. He is now in the final stretch of a full-time career in the ring as AEW World Champion.
Strickland, despite losing at All In tweeted that it was the best moment in his career to date.
Danielson stated at the press conference, that Strickland is an incredible World Champion. He praised Strickland as a great performer and a human being.
