Ricochet signs AEW contract, debuts at All In gauntlet match in todays Wrestling news

Ricochet, who left WWE in March, has now found a new home for pro wrestling.

Ricochet made his AEW debut at All In Sunday, as he was one of the entrants for the Casino gauntlet. Tony Khan tweeted a graphic from All Elite welcoming Ricochet to AEW, and confirming his signing with the promotion.

Ricochet showed off his athleticism immediately upon entering the gauntlet. He defeated a group wrestlers by using a Shooting Star Press.

In another spot, Ricochet smashed Christian Cage to death with a dive. Christian Cage, with the help of Killswitch, won the gauntlet after pinning Kyle O’Reilly. Christian can now request an AEW shot whenever he likes.

Since Ricochet informed WWE this summer that he was leaving the company at the end of his contract, AEW had been expected to be the destination. It’s believed that the deal he signed with AEW will last for several years.

Ricochet will have the opportunity to renew his rivalry in the ring with Will Ospreay, who is now the new International Champion. In an interview with TalkSport before All In, Ospreay urged Ricochet to find his fire again and show the world how good he is in the ring.

Shop AEW has already sold its first Ricochet t-shirt.
