Charles Scaggs (better known to wrestling fans by the name 2 Cold Scorpio) has been arrested.
According to court documents obtained from TMZ, he was charged with assault in the first degree and one count of armed criminal activity. He is currently on bond and is due to return to court next month.
The charges stemmed from an incident which occurred in the early morning hours of June 15, at a Love’s Travel Stop in Kansas City. Scorpio was a security guard at the store when the incident occurred and claimed that the victim lit a cigarette in the store. The victim claims that he extinguished the cigarette before entering the shop, but it could not have been completely extinguished.
Scorpio allegedly confronted the man, and an argument followed. The confrontation continued outside of the store, where Scorpio claims the man grappled with him.
Scorpio told police he stabbed the victim several times in self-defense with a pocketknife. When they arrived, police say the man was bleeding in several places, including his abdomen and buttocks. He also had cuts on his chest, head, legs, and chest. He was able to be contacted by police later that day in a local hospital. He claimed that Scorpio was the aggressor. Details regarding his current health have not been revealed.
